Indian premier off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin created another record as the bowler has now become the eighth-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket. Ashwin dismissed Sri Lanka’s Dhananjaya de Silva in the second innings of the ongoing day-night test to achieve the historic feat.
Ashwin has now overtaken South African speedster Dale Steyn’s tally of 439 wickets. Ashwin now has over 440 wickets in the longest format of the game.
