India reported its third confirmed Covid-19 case of Omicron variant in Gujarat. The state health department of Gujarat revealed that a man who traveled from Zimbabwe to Gujarat’s Jamnagar has tested positive for the Omicron variant of coronavirus.
According to reports, the affected man reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 during screening at the airport two days ago, following which the samples were sent for genome sequencing. Earlier, the country had reported two cases of the Omicron variant which were detected in the state of Karnataka.
