NZ’s spinner Ajaz Patel creates history, takes all 10 wickets in a Test innings against India

Indian-origin New Zealand’s spinner Ajaz Patel created history in the second test by taking all 10 wickets of the Indian team in the first innings. The spinner took his 10 wickets by giving away 119 runs in his 47.5 overs of his bowling. Ajaz Patel also bowled 12 maiden overs in his splendid bowling spell.

Ajaz Patel has now become the third bowler after Anil Kumble and Jim Laker to take all 10 wickets in a test innings. Ajaz Yunus Patel was born on 21 October 1988 in Mumbai before emigrating to New Zealand with his family when he was nine years old. He made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team in October 2018.
