Guwahati, August 13 (NKTV): Pursuing an old case, a team of Karbi Anglong Police busted an inter-state gang of smugglers. The team arrested two persons, including a lady and seized two kilograms of Heroin.
“The total recovery in this case now is 4.848 kg heroin and this serves a major blow to the gang” stated Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in a post on Twitter.
Karbi Anglong Police conducted an operation yesterday based on specific inputs along the Assam-Nagaland border area.
As informed by the Police, the drugs were concealed in 150 small packets.
