Guwahati, July 7 (NKTV): Assam on Tuesday reported 2,433 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the active caseload to 22,897.
Positivity rate for the day stood at 2.43 per cent. 34 Covid-related fatalities have been reported while 1,745 recovered patients were discharged.
The districts with the highest number of cases are Golaghat (270), Jorhat (246), Sonipur (229) and Kamrup Metro (203).
Total number of deaths in the state is presently 4,717.
