5 drugs peddlers held in Guwahati, Heroin seized
Guwahati, August 13 (NKTV): A team of Assam Police from Noonmati Police Station and SOG of Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) apprehended 5 drugs traffickers and peddlers. The team seized 50 vials with suspected Heroin (16 gms), 107 empty vials, 12 Mobile handsets and 15 syringes.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Ankurjyoti Das, Md Rahul Hussain, Ajit Saikia, Rajib Rajbangshi and Kishor Sarmah.
Further investigation is on to unearth linkages.
