Guwahati, August 13 (NKTV): A team of Assam Police in Jorabat intercepted a truck that was transporting IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) from 9 Mile to Aizawl in Mizoram. Based on specific inputs, IC (Traffic) of Jorabat Out Post intercepted the truck, bearing registration number AS 01 MC 9517, and recovered 209 cartons of IMFL.
Search of the truck revealed the following IMFL being transported illegally:
- 10 cartons containing 120 bottles of Blender’s Pride (750 ml each bottle).
- 29 cartons containing 348 bottles of Royal Stag (750ml each bottle).
- 80 cartons containing 1920 King Fisher Beer Cans (500ml each Can).
- 75 cartons containing 900 bottles of Mc. Dowells Luxury (750ml each bottle).
- 15 cartons containing 360 bottles of Magic Moment (375 ml each bottle).
An FIR has been filed at Basistha Police Station.
