Former president of Assam Weightlifting Association and Great Iron sports organiser of Assam Abdul Raquib passes away due to post Covid-19 complications. Abdul Raquib (Mukut), breathed his last at the Apollo Hospital Guwahati today due to post Covid complications. He was aged 63.
A lawyer by profession, Raquib, who hails from Chandmari, Guwahati was associated with the Rotary Club and a number of sports’ organizations. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives. His death has been widely condoled.
