Over 500 new Covid cases in Mizoram, two more deaths
Guwahati, July 8 (NKTV): The state of Mizoram reported 548 new cases of Covid-19 reported 548 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, the highest single-day spike in July so far.
With this, the total tally in the state has reached 22,703, an official of the Health Department informed. The new infections include 88 children and four Border Security Force personnel, the official said.
The death toll in Mizoram climbed to 101 as two more people succumbed to the infection.
Mizoram now has 3,959 active cases, while 18,643 people have recovered from the disease.
