NHM Cancels CHO Recruitment Advertisement and Interview Process
NHM has cancelled the recruitment advertisement and interview process for Community Health Officers (CHOs).
The National Health Mission had advertised 822 posts for Community Health Officers on July 19, 2025. Thousands of candidates applied for the posts, following which 1,500 candidates were shortlisted.
The shortlisted candidates subsequently appeared for a skill test and interview. The interviews were conducted from October 14 to 17, 2025, and the candidates were awaiting the results.
However, the CHO recruitment process has now been cancelled by NHM for unspecified reasons. The recruitment process was cancelled by Mission Director S. Lakshmanan.
The cancellation of the CHO recruitment process has triggered reactions among the candidates who appeared for the interviews and were awaiting the results.
