Martyred Suman Swargiary laid to rest with state honours
Body of Suman Swargiary, martyred Rifleman of 46 Assam Rifles was laid to rest with full state honours in Thaikarakuchi village of Baksa district on Monday morning. Jawan Swargiary lost his life in the deadly ambush against the security forces in Manipur on 13th November.
Seven persons were killed in the Manipur ambush which included the wife and 8-year-old son of an Assam Rifles commanding officer. Meanwhile, Assam’s Suman Swargiary leaves behind his two-year-old son and wife.
