India beat England in Women’s Cricket to level T20 Series
Guwahati, July 12 (NKTV): In Women’s Cricket, India yesterday beat England by eight runs, leveling the T20 series 1-1 at Hove.
India had scored 148 for four in the stipulated 20 overs. Shafali Verma scored 48 runs in 38 balls while Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur scored 31 runs. In reply, England could manage 140 for 8 in the 20 overs.
In the first T20 of the three match series on Friday, England beat India by 18 runs through Duckworth Lewis method in a rain-hit match.
The third and final T20 will be played at Chelmsford on July 14.
