India’s rising spin star Manav Suthar has made history on English soil with a stunning performance for Warwickshire in the County Championship. The 24-year-old left-arm orthodox spinner claimed three wickets in just 15 balls without conceding a single run against Glamorgan in Cardiff. Suthar became the first bowler in 131 years of First-Class cricket to achieve the feat. England’s Tom Hayward was the last to do so, taking three wickets without conceding a run in 1895. Suthar has also made an impressive start to his Test career, claiming 23 wickets in just three Tests, underlining his growing stature as India’s next spin star.
