BCCI-ACA Delegation Meets Assam CM; Extends Invitation for Historic India–South Africa Test in Guwahati
A high-level delegation led by BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, along with ACA President Taranga Gogoi, ACA Secretary Sanatan Das, ACA Vice President Romen Dutta and former ACA Secretary Tridib Konwar, called on Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today to formally invite him to the upcoming IDFC First Bank India vs South Africa Test Match.
During the meeting, the delegation also presented the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 souvenir to the Chief Minister.
The historic Test match, scheduled from 22nd to 26th November 2025 at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati, marks a landmark moment for Assam — celebrating one of the proudest milestones in the state’s cricketing journey as it prepares to host its first-ever Test match.
