Guwahati, July 20 (NKTV): In another episode of war and victory against Covid, 97-year-old woman from Udharbond area in Cachar beat Covid-19 after treatment of 12 days at the Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
The patient Jyotsna Rani Deb was discharged from the hospital yesterday.
Doctors of the hospital felicitated her for being the oldest Covid-19 survivor in the hospital.
The Nodal officer for Covid-19 in Silchar Medical College and Hospital Dr Riturag Thakuria said that Deb was admitted to the hospital with kyphosis and breathing issues on July 07.
It may be mentioned here that last year, a 100-year-old patient from Tezpur had emerged victorious against Covid at the Mahendra Mohan Chowdhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati.
