Guwahati, July 27 (NKTV): Addressing media persons in Kokrajhar today, BTC Executive Member Dharma Narayan Das said that the tourism sector in Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) districts would be developed and uplifted with impressive steps in days to come.
“There is sufficient aspect and potentiality of tourism sector in BTC districts besides attractive natural resources including two national parks – Manas and Raimona” Das said. He informed that the BTC Tourism Department has been initiating strong steps to explore the tourist spots across the region with building up of attractive infrastructures. “The tourism department so far stepped up necessary strategies to make healthy hotspots of tourism in days to come” he added.
Meanwhile, 18 participants participated in a ten day skill development training programme with tourism stakeholders from four different BTC districts which started from Tuesday under the aegis of BTC Tourism Department.
