In a compassionate response to the tragic Air India crash, Tata Group, the owner of the airline, has pledged ₹1 crore (approximately $117,000) to the families of each person who lost their life in the incident. The group will also bear the medical expenses of the injured and assist in rebuilding the medical hostel that was struck during the crash.
“No words can adequately express the grief we feel at this moment,” Tata Group said in a heartfelt statement on X.
