SITM Graduation Day Celebrates New Cohort; Chief Guest Urges Graduates to “Be Job Givers”

Scholars Institute of Technology and Management (SITM) held its Graduation Day ceremony at the campus auditorium on 15th August 2025, conferring Provisional Certificates on graduates affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).

Chief Guest Dr. Dilip Chetry, a prominent scientist and Parivesh Mitra, congratulated the graduates and urged them to “become job givers, not job seekers,” calling on them to contribute meaningfully to society and “utilise the training provided by the college to its true term.”

The formal academic procession was followed by the declaration of the ceremony open by the Chief Guest. The Principal administered the graduate oath, and Heads of Departments presented candidates, after which the Principal admitted them to their respective degrees on behalf of ASTU. The Chief Guest presented the Provisional Certificates, while the Controller of Examinations announced medals and academic awards for meritorious students.

Two special honours were conferred during the event — the Academic Excellence Award and the Student of the Year Award — recognizing outstanding achievements among the graduating batch.
