Northeast was neglected during Congress regime: Sonowal
Guwahati, August 22 (NKTV): Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal, while participating in the Jan Ashirvad Yatra in Nagaon and Morigaon today, said that the northeastern region did not receive attention during the Congress regime.
“In spite of being a storehouse of resources, Assam and Northeast India have comparatively remained behind all because of this negligence” said Sonowal.
