After Omicron, a new Covid-19 variant has been found in the United Kingdom. The country’s health security agency has said that a variant from mutation of the BA.1 and BA.2 Omicron strains was found. The new variant has been referred to as the ‘XE’ variant of Omicron.
According to reports, the new variant is likely to be more transmissible than any strain of Covid-19.
