Fast-paced cricket action: GSA announces Six-a-Side tournament
The Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) has announced the organization of the GSA Six-a-Side Cricket Tournament, scheduled to be held on January 29 and 30, 2026. The two-day tournament will take place at the ACA Cricket Academy Ground, Fulung, North Guwahati, and is expected to feature high-intensity cricket action in a fast-paced format.
The Six-a-Side format, known for its quick matches and thrilling gameplay, places strong emphasis on agility, skill, and tactical decision-making. The tournament aims to provide an exciting competitive platform for both club and corporate teams.
By selecting the ACA Cricket Academy Ground as the venue, the Guwahati Sports Association seeks to ensure world-class infrastructure and professional playing conditions for all participating teams. The tournament will be conducted under proper supervision, maintaining competitive standards and smooth match management.
Participation in the tournament is open to club and corporate teams, with entries being accepted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. A total of 12 teams will be allowed to participate, making early registration essential for interested teams.
Encouraging teams to register at the earliest, the Guwahati Sports Association highlighted that the tournament will not only promote competitive cricket but also strengthen sporting culture in the city.
