AAFPA celebrates World Photography Day with Fashion Click 2025
The All Assam Fashion Photographers Association (AAFPA) marked World Photography Day 2025 with its signature event Fashion Click in presence of Minister, Cultural Affairs Bimal Borah at the Jyoti Chitraban, Guwahati, bringing together the worlds of fashion, photography, and entertainment in a spectacular celebration of creativity.
The evening was graced by celebrated personalities, notably including Zubeen Garg, Jatin Bora, Nishita Goswami, and Garima Saikia Garg, who applauded the initiative and encouraged young photographers to pursue their passion with dedication.
The highlight of the event was the Live Fashion Photography Competition, where participants captured the charm and elegance of professional models Niha Das, Dillani Devi, and Parleen Islam in real time.
Alongside the competition, the Fashion Photography Exhibition offered a glimpse into the evolving landscape of fashion photography in Assam, showcasing both fresh talent and established names.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Bikram Borpatra, Secretary of AAFPA, said, “AAFPA was formed with the vision to create a professional platform for fashion photographers in Assam. With Fashion Click, we are not just celebrating World Photography Day; we are setting the stage for our photographers to compete, collaborate, and claim their space in the national and global fashion industry.”
The event concluded on a high note, reaffirming Fashion Click’s place as one of the most awaited gatherings for photographers and fashion enthusiasts in the region.
