Republic Day 2026: Tri-services tableau to highlight ‘Operation Sindoor’ at Kartavya Path
The Indian Armed Forces will showcase a Tri-Service tableau titled “Operation Sindoor: Victory Through Jointness” during the 77th Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path on January 26. The tableau will present a powerful visual narrative of India’s evolving military doctrine, underlining the country’s growing emphasis on joint operations, precision strikes and self-reliant defence capabilities.
According to Defence Ministry, the tableau reflects the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and India’s march towards Viksit Bharat @2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It highlights how seamless coordination among the Army, Navy and Air Force has become central to India’s national security strategy.
The presentation will open with a depiction of the Indian Navy asserting maritime dominance and denying operational space to adversaries. This will be followed by the Indian Army’s firepower, symbolised by M777 ultra-light howitzers delivering precise strikes. The Akash air defence system will feature prominently, representing India’s layered and integrated air defence shield.
The tableau will then move into the core strike sequence of Operation Sindoor, illustrating India’s doctrine of rapid response, controlled escalation and high-accuracy operations. A HAROP loitering munition will be shown neutralising enemy air defence radar, highlighting India’s growing prowess in unmanned precision warfare. This will be followed by a Rafale fighter aircraft carrying SCALP missiles striking terror infrastructure, and an SU-30 MKI launching the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile to destroy hardened targets.
The final phase of the tableau will showcase the extended reach of India’s integrated air defence network, with the S-400 system engaging and neutralising a hostile airborne early-warning platform at long range. This segment is intended to convey India’s capability to detect, decide and destroy threats with speed and accuracy.
The Ministry said every element of the tableau underscores the maturity of Tri-Service jointness, intelligence-led targeting and minimal collateral damage, reinforcing the message that terrorism and violence will not be tolerated. The display also highlights indigenous defence systems developed under the “Brand India Defence” initiative, reflecting India’s emergence as a credible and technologically advanced military power.
The Tri-Service tableau is not just a depiction of a military operation but a strategic statement, projecting “Victory Through Jointness” as the defining feature of India’s contemporary defence posture, added the Ministry.
