Assam down town University successfully concluded its transformative two-day industry-academia interface, “From Campus to Corporate: Industry Interaction Sessions,” at Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati. With the participation of over 400 students, the event featured high-impact sessions from global technology leaders IBM, L&T EduTech, VFS Global Academy and SAP.

Building on Day 1’s emphasis on mechatronics and global career readiness, Day 2 brought focus to the digital frontier. Industry experts delivered in-depth sessions on Artificial Intelligence, Full Stack Development, Data Science, and Cloud ERP systems, empowering students with knowledge that directly maps to in-demand global job roles.

IBM led dynamic sessions that explored the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence, the importance of ethical tech deployment, and the fundamentals of Full Stack Development. Complementing this, SAP represented by Deepak Rayapudi, Senior Manager – SAP Higher Education & Upskilling at SEED Infotech Ltd—delivered an insightful session on ERP education. He emphasized the critical role of Cloud ERP systems in enhancing enterprise agility and efficiency, highlighting how such platforms are integral to modern business operations and a key area for upskilling future professionals.

Swarnima Mitra, Data Scientist, IBM Career Education, engaged students with a session on AI trends, stated – “AI is not just about technology, it’s about impact. Our goal is to inspire students to not just use these tools, but to innovate with them responsibly.

Moitri Hazra, Full Stack Developer, IBM, conducted a hands-on workshop, added-

Like Day 1, today’s session also included the felicitation of students who scored 90% and above in their Class 10 and 12 board examinations, celebrating academic excellence alongside industry engagement.

The event continued its strong emphasis on experiential learning and interactive sessions, with panel discussions, student Q&As, and real-time case study explorations.

With participation from over 400 students across B.Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, and MCA programs, “From Campus to Corporate” has set a new benchmark in academic-industry collaboration in Northeast India.
