The Indian Army recently conducted a large-scale integrated field exercise named ‘Teesta Prahar’ at the Teesta Field Firing Range, showcasing high levels of combat preparedness and coordination across multiple military units. Held in challenging riverine terrain, the exercise tested the Army’s ability to operate effectively under realistic battlefield conditions.
The exercise brought together key elements from across the force, including Infantry, Artillery, Armoured and Mechanised units, Para Special Forces, Army Aviation, Engineers, and Signals. A notable feature was the operational use and validation of newly inducted advanced weapons systems and battlefield technologies, highlighting the Army’s ongoing modernization efforts.

Focusing on joint operations and seamless synergy, the drill included tactical maneuvers, combat simulations, and rapid-response rehearsals, enhancing the Army’s ability to respond swiftly to evolving threats in difficult terrain and under adverse weather.
