Purbanchal Cement Ltd Contributes ₹21 Lakh to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
In response to the devastating flood situation affecting families and infrastructure across Assam, Purbanchal Cement Ltd., manufacturers of Surya Cement, today handed over a financial contribution of ₹21,00,000 (Rupees Twenty-One Lakh only) to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Assam.
The cheque was officially handed over to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, by Mr. Vedant Agarwal, Managing Director, Purbanchal Cement Ltd., during a meeting at the Chief Minister’s office in Guwahati.
The contribution is aimed at supporting the ongoing emergency relief, humanitarian assistance, and rehabilitation efforts undertaken by the state government for flood-impacted communities across the region.
Speaking on the gesture, Mr. Vedant Agarwal, Managing Director, Purbanchal Cement Ltd., said:
