8th Assam Premier Club Championship (Guwahati Leg) Begins on January 11
The Guwahati Sports Association (GSA), under the aegis of the Assam Cricket Association (ACA), will organise the 8th Assam Premier Club Championship (Guwahati Leg) 2025–26 from January 11 to February 17 at the iconic Judges Field, Guwahati.
One of the most prestigious domestic club cricket tournaments in Assam, the championship will feature 10 A-Division clubs affiliated with the Guwahati Sports Association. The tournament will kick off on January 11 with the opening match between Bud Cricket Club and Titan Club.
The participating teams have been divided into two groups. Group A includes Bud Cricket Club, New Star Club, ASEB Sports Club, Legends Sporting Club and Titan Club. Group B comprises City Cricket Club, Gauhati Town Club, Ankurjyoti Club, Navarang Club and Young Amateur Club.
Over the years, the Assam Premier Club Championship has served as a vital platform for both emerging and established cricketers to showcase their talent, playing a key role in the growth and development of cricket in the state. The GSA expects a high standard of competition and enthusiastic participation from players and officials.
