48-hour curfew imposed in Puri ahead of Rath Yatra
Guwahati, July 11 (NKTV): In view of the Rath Yatra which will take place on Monday, the Odisha government has announced a 48-hour curfew in Puri town from 8 pm on Sunday to 8 pm on Tuesday. The government have also ordered the hotel owners to not accommodate any tourists in the town during the Rath Yatra.
In wake of Covid-19 pandemic the Odisha government has closed all the entry points to the Puri during the Rath Yatra. The annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath will be held on July 12.
