Vaibhav Suryavanshi, born in 2011 in Bihar, made history when Rajasthan Royals signed him at age 13 for 1.1 crore, becoming the youngest player ever auctioned in IPL history. On April 19, 2025, at just 14 years and 23 days, he debuted against Lucknow Super Giants-smashing a six off his very first ball and finishing 34* off 20 balls.
Nine days later, he hammered 101 off 38 balls against Gujarat Titans-11 sixes, 7 fours-becoming the youngest T20 and IPL centurion and recording the secondfastest IPL century ever, fastest by an Indian.
