SPM IAS Academy Wins Best Coaching Institute Award for Civil Services Preparation
SPM IAS Academy was conferred with the Best Coaching Institute Award for Civil Services Preparation at the prestigious ANKURAM Excellence Award Ceremony, organised by Ankuram NGO at the Madhav Dev International Auditorium, Panjabari (near Kalakshetra), Guwahati.
The award was received by Abhisekh Lahkar, recognising the academy’s consistent contribution to transforming civil services preparation in Assam and the North-East. Over the years, SPM IAS Academy has played a key role in providing structured, accessible, and result-oriented guidance to UPSC and State Civil Services aspirants in the region.
The recognition also reflects the academy’s strong perfonnance record in recent years. In UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024, 16 students from the IGP programme qualified, while Ricky Lahkar secured AIR 230 in UPSC CSE 2023. In the APSC Combined Competitive Examination, SPM IAS Academy students secured 194 out of 235 posts in 2023, 689 out of 913 selections in 2022, and 177 out of 331 selections in 2020.
Speaking on the occasion, Abhisekh Lahkar expressed gratitude to Ankuram NGO and dedicated the award to the students and faculty whose dedication and discipline have driven the academy’s success.
The honour reaffirms SPM LAS Academy’s commitment to nurturing capable, ethical, and socially responsible future civil servants from the region.
