Smriti Mandhana Tops Women’s ODI Batting Rankings with 828 Points
Indian women’s team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has achieved her best rating in her ODI career. She has reached 828 points. Mandhana scored 109 against New Zealand and an unbeaten 34 against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, her fellow opener Pratika Rawal has entered the top-30.
In the rankings released on Tuesday (October 28), Australia’s Ash Gardner reached second place in ODI batting rankings. She jumped 6 places. Deepti Sharma suffered a setback in both bowling and all-rounder rankings. Deepti slipped 2 places in bowling and one place in the all-rounder rankings.
Mandhana: Top Batter of World Cup 2025
Opener Smriti Mandhana is in excellent form. She has scored the most runs in the Women’s World Cup 2025. She has accumulated 365 runs with one century and two fifties. Mandhana has scored runs at an average of around 61 and a strike rate of 103 in 7 innings. She also won the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for her strong performance in the ODI series against Australia in September this year.
Pratika Rawal jumped 12 places
The tournament’s second top batter, Pratika Rawal, has reached the 27th ranking with a jump of 12 places. She has scored 308 runs in 6 innings of the Women’s World Cup. However, an ankle injury while fielding against Bangladesh has ruled her out of the tournament. Shafali Verma has been included in the team in her place.
