Simanta Shekhar Resigns from All BJP Posts and Steps Down as Chairman of Assam State Film Finance and Development Corporation
Assamese artist and politician Simanta Shekhar has resigned from all his positions within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
He has stepped down from the BJP State Executive Committee and given up his primary membership in the party.Simultaneously, he has resigned as the Chairman of the Assam State Film (Finance and Development) Corporation Ltd.
Shekhar has officially sent his resignation letters to Assam Chief Minister Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma and the BJP Assam State President.
