Purbanchal Cement Ltd Hosts Free Eye and General Health Check-up Camp In Fond Memory of Zubeen Garg
Purbanchal Cement Ltd (Surya Cement) successfully hosted a Free Eye Check-up and General Health Check-up Camp on Saturday, September 29, 2025 in fond memory of Zubeen Garg, the legendary Assamese musician whose soulful voice and philanthropy inspired generations across Northeast India, at Moragdula Village Development Committee’s Community Hall in Kamrup, Assam, drawing a large turnout from 9:30 AM onwards and earning widespread appreciation for its impactful CSR initiative on community health..
In partnership with Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya (SSN), Guwahati, for specialized eye examinations and screenings, and Sonapur Block PHC for general health check-ups and awareness on common conditions, the camp provided accessible preventive care to numerous local residents, including Surya Cement family members, who praised the seamless services and expert support.
