Producer Promises Ticket Price Cut for ‘Roi Roi Binale’

In a positive development for fans of Late Zubeen Garg, Producer Shyamantak Gautam has pledged to lower the ticket prices for the upcoming film Roi Roi Binale following concerns raised by Manoj Kumar Goswami, Editor-In-Chief, NKTV PLUS.

Goswami, speaking as a well-wisher and on behalf of numerous Zubeen fans, recently discussed the issue with Gautam, who is currently in Mumbai overseeing the film’s final mixing. The other co-producers of the movie are Zubeen Garg and Garima Saikia Garg.

During the conversation, Goswami highlighted that the elevated ticket prices could pose difficulties for many viewers, particularly ardent Zubeen fans. “This is not just my view, but a request from all Zubeen fans,” Goswami told Gautam.

Responding promptly, Gautam acknowledged the concern, stating, “Brother, I’ve been thinking about this too.” He explained that the price hike was implemented by national distributors and cinema hall owners through a dynamic pricing system, which is beyond the producers’ direct control.

However, Gautam assured immediate action: “But now, I’ll reduce them. I’ll call a meeting right away and demand that the ticket prices be lowered. If necessary, we’ll bear the loss from our own share.” Emphasizing the film’s values, he added, “Zubeen’s love for the people and his self-respect are our true assets.”

Gautam confirmed that the reduced prices would take effect as early as this evening or tomorrow morning, making the film more accessible to its eager audience.

Roi Roi Binale, featuring Zubeen Garg, has generated significant buzz in the Assamese film industry, and this move is expected to boost attendance among fans who have been vocal about affordability issues.
