Annual General Meet 2025 of Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Guwahati Chapter was held in the city on Sunday. In the AGM new members were elected who will take the lead from 2026. Founder and Director of Seven Sense Communications Subhankar Banerjee will take charge as the new chairperson, Dr Alpana Choudhury HOD of Department of Mass communication and Journalism Assam Don Bosco University will be the new Secretary, whereas veteran PR practitioner Nurul Islam Laskar will be the new Head of the Northeast Region of PRCI

Senior PR consultant and motivational speaker Nurul Laskar was nominated as the North East Region Head of PRCI. (Former Chairperson of Guwahati Chapter)
Senior PR consultants Anjuli Chittaranjan, LR Sailo, and Trikalagya Rabha were nominated as Advisors to the Chapter.
Dr Rani Pathak Das (RGU), Arnab Jyoti Das (Apollo Excelcare), Sharique Hussain (NEHHDC) and Suaid Laskar (Admissify) were inducted in the Executive Committee of the Chapter.
PRCI is an elaborate network of communication exchange and excellence that encompasses of 50 Indian cities and towns. With an objective to provide with a bedrock connecting the PR, Corpcom, Media, Advertising, Marcom and HR professionals to the world podium for Public Relations. PRCI is also committed to the grooming and facilitating of mass communication academia and students both nationally and regionally by organising knowledge exchange events like conferences, discussions, lectures, seminars, practical training programmes and conclaves from time to time.
