The Salakati Police has apprehended one person for demanding money from a villager late last evening at Nayachara under Kokrajhar police station. Police apprehended the person while coming to receive the demand money Rs.5 lakh from a teacher.
The arrested person was identified as Asinur Haque. Police administration has initiated strict steps against the person after getting information about the demand for ransom from Barman.
