NCC cadets of 62 Assam Girls Bn (Gp HQ NCC Silchar) under the leadership of CTO Dr Mumtaz Mazumdar of MC Das College distributed essential ration and grocery items on boats to the stranded fellow residents affected by the devastating floods.
More than 7.19 lakh people have been affected in 2,095 villages from 22 of 34 districts has been affected by the heavy flooding in Assam.
