Navajyoti Club secured a convincing 31-run victory over Nabajyoti Cricket Club in a league match of the GSA Qualifying Cricket League 2024-25 held at the Nehru Stadium, Guwahati.
Nabajyoti Cricket Club won the toss and elected to field first. Navajyoti Club set a target of 126 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Club’s Innings: Tamuli and Rabha Lead the Charge
The innings for Navajyoti Club was anchored by a fantastic half-century from captain and wicket-keeper Hrishikesh Tamuli, who remained not out on 51 runs off 39 balls, including 5 fours and 1 six. A blistering knock came from Dharani Dhar Rabha, who smashed 36 runs off just 20 balls at a strike rate of 180.00, featuring 3 fours and 2 sixes.
