The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) is on its way to claiming landslide victory in the civic bodies elections of Assam. With the latest update for the ongoing counting of the polls, the BJP is gaining over 73+ seats out of 80 in the civic bodies.
Polling was held for 80 civic bodies in Assam and the counting of the votes started at 8 am today.
