Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has urged the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to review its financial support to Pakistan, alleging that a significant portion of the aid could be used to bolster terror-linked infrastructure. Speaking at the Air Force Station in Bhuj, Singh stated that providing economic assistance to Pakistan in the current context is akin to financing terrorism.
Highlighting the success of Operation Sindoor, the Defence Minister praised the Indian Air Force for its swift and effective strike, which he said dismantled terrorist infrastructure in just 23 minutes. Singh noted that the operation sent a clear and powerful message against terrorism and underscored India’s military capability and readiness.
“The Air Force dominated and decimated the enemy in Operation Sindoor,” he said, adding that the military’s decisive action has garnered appreciation both nationally and internationally. He emphasized that the operation demonstrated India’s ability to strike across Pakistan, setting new standards for the country’s defence prowess.
During his visit to Bhuj, Singh also plans to visit Smritivan, a memorial and museum dedicated to the victims of the 2001 Gujarat earthquake.
