Guwahati, July 13 (NKTV): Addressing media persons today, ex MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi stated that even 10 Akhil Gogoi cannot defeat him. “Akhil Gogoi may not, but the people will vote for me. I may not get his one vote. That won’t make much of a difference” Kurmi said. Kurmi made the same statement regarding Gaurav Gogoi, Ripun Bora and Rakibul Hussain as well.
“Whether I get candidature or not will be decided by higher party authorities” Kurmi added. Kurmi also asserted that for the next 15-20 years, it will be BJP Government in the state.
“Congress lacks a leader who thinks for the people of Assam” he said.
