Guwahati, July 10 (NKTV): An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 on the Richter Scale hit Sonitpur district at 7:31 AM today morning.
As reported by the National Center for Seismology, epicentre of the earthquake was located 34 kilometres West of Tezpur at a depth of 17 kilometres.
No loss of life or property has been reported.
