Charanjit Singh Channi takes oath as Punjab CM
Guwahati, September 20 (NKTV): Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi was today sworn in as the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Governor of Punjab Banwarilal Purohit administered oath to Channi at a ceremony held at the Raj Bhawan. It may be mentioned here that Channi took his oath in Punjabi.
The Congress had picked Channi as the CM of Punjab after Amarinder Singh resigned from the post.
