Australia announce playing XI for first Ashes Test

Cricket fans across the globe are gearing up for the relishing Ashes series which will be held from 8 December. In that context, the Australian Cricket Board has announced their playing XI for the first Ashes test against England. Pat Cummins will captain Australia for the first time.

Wicket-keeper Alex Carey to make his test debut and Australia will be playing with three main fast bowlers in the likes of Mitchell Starc, Cummins and Josh Hazlewood.

Australia XI- Marcus Harris, David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Cameron Green, Alex Carey (wk), Pat Cummins (c), Mitch Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood.
