Assam down town University Celebrates the Placement Success of 700+ Students at AdtU Success Meet 2025

In a proud celebration of talent, perseverance, and achievement, Assam down town University hosted the AdtU Success Meet 2025, honouring the remarkable feat of 700+ students who secured placements across prestigious national and international companies during the 2024–2025 campus recruitment season.

The event, held at the university’s K Block Auditorium, was organized by the Directorate of Career Advancement (DCA) and witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. Narendra Nath Dutta, Hon’ble Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Narayan Chandra Talukdar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Pranveer Singh, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor and the members of the Board of Trustees, deans, faculty members, proud parents, and hundreds of jubilant students.

Delivering the inaugural address, Prof. (Dr.) N. C. Talukdar, Vice Chancellor of AdtU, remarked:
“This is more than a success meet, it is a celebration of dreams fulfilled. These 700+ success stories are a proof to the resilience and potential of our students, supported by dedicated mentors, families, and a visionary placement team.”

The ceremony applauded the efforts of the Directorate of Career Advancement, whose consistent efforts led to placement drives by 115 reputed organizations, including TCS, Cognizant, Vodafone, Airtel, Blinkit, Jaro Education, Alembic Pharmaceuticals, ThoughtWorks, ITC, Marico, Apollo Hospitals, Omega Healthcare, Max Cement, UltraTech Cement, Haleon, and many more. The highest salary package stood at ₹12.76 LPA, with an average package of ₹4.5 LPA, marking a record-setting season for the university.

Dr. Rimjhim Baruah Borah, Director (i/c), Directorate of Career Advancement, shared her gratitude and enthusiasm:
“Each student’s placement is a story of ambition, effort, and transformation. We are proud to have played a part in shaping these journeys, and we remain committed to widening our network and unlocking greater opportunities in the coming years.”

Furthermore, Dr. N. N. Dutta, Hon’ble Chancellor of Assam down town University, who felicitated Dr. Rimjhim Baruah Borah, Director (i/c), Directorate of Career Advancement, for her dedication and continued efforts in securing successful placements for students.

The event also acknowledged the invaluable role played by the parents, whose presence brought warmth and emotion to the gathering. Their encouragement and belief in their children’s potential have been instrumental in this success.

As the event concluded, it left behind a trail of pride and purpose, not just for those who secured their first job offers, but for the entire AdtU family.
