Guwahati, June 12 (NKTV): After taking charge as power department supremo, Tingkhong’s BJP MLA Bimal Bora has taken a tough stand against top level officials of the department.
The state government today relieved VK Pipersenia from the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) after removing a Chief General manager of the department on Wednesday and dismissing one.
The Chief secretary of the state will take over the responsibility of APDCL. The appointment was made by the previous government after his retirement as chief secretary. Pipersenia was serving as chairman of APDCL, APGCL, AEGCL.
