Guwahati, June 12 (NKTV): The Special Police Unit for North-Eastern Region (SPUNER), that was initiated to serve the people of Northeast India living in the country capital, has been working relentlessly for the safety of citizens from NE India.
It may be mentioned here that the SPUNER Unit has been working in three shifts.
One may lodge their complaints to SPUNER at the Control Room Helpline No “1093” (Toll Free).
SPUNER Field Staff headed by an SI is always on Standby duty with three mobile vehicles with Woman Police for 24 hours.
One can also reach out to the SPUNER at the landline number (011-20861720) as well as mobile phone number (8750870582). For complaints like racial discrimination/Slur etc, one may also directly visit SPUNER office currently at 7th Bn Complex Malviya Nagar of South Delhi.
Every morning at 7:30 AM, the Control Room and Shift Incharges brief the Additional Commissioner of SPUNER about calls received and action taken during the last 24 hours. Fortnightly and monthly reports are submitted to the Commissioner.
