Ankurjyoti Club defeated River Rine in the GSA Champions Trophy by 7 wickets. Winning the toss Ankurjyoti Club decided to bowl first. Putting into bat the Rive Rine side could only managed to score 106 runs in 20 overs. Meanwhile, the Ankurjyoti batters chased the target in just 15.5 overs by losing only 3 wickets. Himanshu Saraswat of AnkurJyoti Club was awarded man of the match for picking up 3 important wickets in the match.
On the other hand, in the second match of the day Gauhati Town Club suffered defeat in hands of New Star Club by 7 wickets. Deciding to bat first Gauhati Town Club could only manage to score 103 runs in 20 overs. Meanwhile, New Star Club chased the target in 16.1 overs by losing 3 wickets. Rajveer Singh of New Star Club was awarded man of the match for his 46 runs innings in just 36 balls.
