All-round Titan club outclass Legends Sporting in APCC

Titan Club registered a dominant 9-wicket victory over Legends Sporting Club in Match No. 09 of the 8th Assam Premier Club Championship 2025–26 (Guwahati Leg) at Judges’ Field, Guwahati.

Winning the toss, Titan Club elected to bowl first, a decision that proved fruitful as their bowlers restricted Legends Sporting Club to 72 runs for 10 wickets in 23 overs in the 40-over limited-overs contest.

For Legends Sporting Club, Binod Sharma was the top scorer with a fighting 25 off 31 balls, which included five boundaries. Parthib Kashyap Sarma contributed 11 runs off 11 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup struggled to build partnerships. Titan’s disciplined bowling attack kept the scoring rate under control throughout the innings.

In reply, Titan Club chased down the modest target with ease, scoring 73 for 1 in just 14 overs. Rajveer Mishra led the chase with an unbeaten 29 off 23 balls, striking five boundaries, while Pratik Mour supported well with 22 not out off 44 balls. Aneek Das also chipped in with a quick 18 off 17 balls, ensuring there were no late hiccups.

Among the bowlers, Debojit Mahanta delivered an outstanding all-round performance, claiming 3 wickets for 7 runs in 6 overs, and was later adjudged the Man of the Match for his impactful spell. He was well supported by Dheemanjyoti Das (3/23 in 5 overs), Shibajit Chowdhury (2/1 in 1 over), and Kamakshya Singh (2/13 in 7 overs).

For Legends Sporting Club in the second innings, Nabadit Narzary picked up the lone wicket, finishing with figures of 1/15 in 4 overs.

With this convincing win, Titan Club strengthened their position in the tournament. The next fixture will see Navarang Club take on Young Amateur Club on January 27, 2026, following a scheduled rest period.
