ACA strengthens Apex Council with ICA nominees
The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has announced the nomination of representatives from the Indian Cricket Association (ICA) to its 3rd Apex Council and General Body, marking an important step in strengthening inclusive governance within the state’s cricket administration.
As per the announcement, Mr Gokul Sharma has been nominated as the male representative of ICA, while Mrs Rumi Boro has been nominated as the female representative of ICA. Both have been inducted as members of the Apex Council of the Assam Cricket Association.
In another key nomination, Ms Minu Begum has been appointed as a Member of the Governing Council of the Assam Premier League (APL), further reinforcing representation and administrative support within Assam’s premier domestic cricket league.
The Assam Cricket Association extended its best wishes to all the newly nominated members and expressed confidence that they will contribute effectively and responsibly during their tenure in their respective roles.
The nominations reflect ACA’s continued commitment to structured governance, representation, and the overall development of cricket in Assam.
